Grizzly Varsity Boys Volleyball rises to 1st overall

Spring Valley Grizzly Varsity Boys Volleyball is now 1st place overall in the 4A Desert Division.

With a season record of 5-3, the Grizzlies currently have the best win-loss record of any team in the division. The only team close to Spring Valley’s record is Cheyenne HS, which has a record of 4-4.

With the Grizzlies winning two of the last three games, fans are excited to cheer on the Grizzlies in spirit. “While I can’t go to a game right now, I am so excited that our team is 1st overall!” remarked Krystka Mariano.

Grizzly Boys Volleyball’s next two games are scheduled for Saturday, May 15 versus Southeast Career Academy (at 1:30pm) and Valley High School (at 3:00pm), with both being played at Legacy High School’s campus in North Las Vegas.

Grizzly Varsity Boys Baseball wins both recent games

Grizzly Varsity Boys Baseball won both of its’ recent games and remains 6th overall in the 5A-Mountain Division. May 6th’s game against Foothill HS in Henderson was a shut-out for the Grizzlies, beating Foothill 11-1. The Grizzlies’ latest game, played on May 11 against Rancho HS at Spring Valley, ended with a 6-5 Grizzly win.
