Congratulations to Andrew Granados for finishing first in the inaugural 10 grade Physical Education 5k run, with a time of 20 minutes and two seconds.
Javon McAvelly Smith came in second with a time of 20 minutes and 58 seconds, and Peyton Leavitt came in third, his time was 21 minutes an 16 minutes.
Coach Oliver would like to recognize all the students that worked hard during the eight weeks of training leading up to this run.

Senior Dyuce Woodson currently writes for the R-Jeneration, a high school journalism program and leads the Grizzly Growler staff as one of the editors. Dyuce worked for the Oregonian newspaper and currently works for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He has great interest in becoming a sports writer and hopes to work for ESPN or Sports Illustrated in the future.
Originally born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dyuce at the age of four, moved to Las Vegas. At the age of seven, he moved to Portland, Oregon where he would spend the next ten years of his life. During his high school years, Dyuce spent the majority of them at Tigard High School in Oregon. However he started his freshman year at Madison High School in Portland, Oregon, only being there in the first semester.
During his freshman and sophomore years, he played football for both high schools. He loves football with his favorite sports team being the Philadelphia Eagles and college team the Oregon Ducks. It was Penn State, but with the negative reports, that changed this summer.
After high school plans, Dyuce wants to go to either University of Oregon with a journalism major and political science minor.
