Other than her big green eyes and bright smile, Taelor Donaldson is quite the character. As Donaldson begins her third year in journalism as a junior she is ready to bring hard news to the Grizzly Growler.

Due to being employed at Popeyes and stacked with AP/honors homework, she was unable to try out for Spring Valley’s volleyball team. But she does plan on trying out for the basketball team. “I’m more focused on school than anything else. I love volleyball, but school comes first,” said Donaldson.

Taelor Donaldson was born on July 5^th, 1997 in sin city also known as Las Vegas. She moved to Utah at the age of seven and then returned to Vegas at nine years old. For most of her life she has lived as a Vegas native. “Utah was beautiful, but I’m always going to be a Vegas girl!” She said. For most of her life, she grew up with a large family. Because both her parents are remarried, she has eight brothers and sisters including step- siblings.

Taelor has big plans after her high school graduation in 2015. “I want to travel the world, starting with Europe. Places such as Italy, Greece and France,” Donaldson said. Before she goes on her dream trip, she plans on going to the University of California, San Diego. She wants to study in the medical field, hopefully becoming a physician’s assistant, or a registered nurse.
