A major Internet outage affected the Spring Valley High School campus early Friday morning.

In an email, administrator Mrs. Pittman said, “We are experiencing intermittent Internet loss at school. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working diligently to get it rectified soon.”

A representative for CenturyLink – the internet company CCSD uses – denied that there were any outages in the 89147 area, but records from downdetector.com, a website that tracks internet outages, reported an outage between approximately 7:21AM and 9:02AM.

2nd and 4th-period classes did not appear to be affected.
