Grizzly Varsity Boys Volleyball remains 2nd overall

Spring Valley Grizzly Varsity Boys Volleyball remained 2nd overall in the 4A Desert Division, behind Cheyenne High School and ahead of Del Sol High School.

MaxPreps shows Spring Valley Grizzly Volleyball is currently 2-1 overall, winning matches against Del Sol and Basic in early April, but losing to Liberty in late April. Scores for matches against Bonanza HS and Mojave HS, both played on May 1, remain missing from MaxPreps’ data as of 05/05/21. The next matches are scheduled for May 8 against Cheyenne High School (1:30PM) and Desert Oasis High School (3:00PM), with both being played at Desert Oasis’ campus near Southern Highlands, NV.

Grizzly Varsity Boys Baseball falls to 6th overall

Grizzly Varsity Boys Baseball suffered tough losses at both of their recent games. The first game was a loss to Liberty HS, 14-4, at home on April 28. The second game, a May 4th away game, resulted in a 7-2 loss against Faith Lutheran. The team is now 1-7 overall, with a 6th place ranking in the 5A-Mountain Division, placing Spring Valley behind Liberty HS but ahead of Rancho HS. Grizzly Varsity Baseball’s next game is scheduled for today, May 5, at 3:30pm versus Foothill HS in Henderson, NV.
