With the warm weather gone and the cold weather quickly approaching, everyone is starting to bundle up. We have so many options of how we are able to stay warm, from coats to heaters. But unfortunately stray animals do not have a choice of how they keep warm. Instead they have to lay on the cold concrete without warmth, they are cold, hungry, and have nowhere else to go.
But the Cause For Paws Club is holding its annual blanket drive. Through out the month of November you can bring gently used blankets and large pieces of cloth to Mrs. Chapman’s room located in the 200’s hallway. The blankets donated will be taken to Lied Animal Shelter where they will be used to keep stray animals warm and cozy throughout the winter.
