The Quick Response reader (QR reader) is a smart phone and tablet app that scans unique codes for websites, links, pictures, music and even pdf documents. Now Spring Valley’s online school paper has a way for students to have quick access to news, events and stories happening around campus. Printing a newspaper is too expensive, and many students do not purchase them, therefore the Grizzly Growler staff has developed a paperless way to have students stay up to date especially with this generation using so much technology.
“The QR reader is a quick way to view my stories, just to make sure they’re up and ready for everyone to read,” said staff writer, Victoria Phillips.
